Maria Landoni

These contrasting landscapes fostered an appreciation for antithesis and opposite which became the groundwork for her career as a designer. She grew up with a love of plants and horticulture but has spent significant time as a planner and urban designer. In her landscape design, she studies the intersection of the natural and social histories of a place and uses that knowledge to inform site specific decisions. Maria has been awarded numerous awards including a National ASLA Honor Award in General Design in 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona and a Master of Landscape Architecture from U.C. Berkeley.

Cornelia Roppel

She has the ability to carry projects from vision to detailed design so that it is coherently ready for the construction document phase. She is particularly interested in creating spaces for work and rest. Before coming to PWP, she began her career in Germany where she worked for such distinguished employers as Latz-Riehl Partner in Kassel, Germany, and has taught Vectorworks at the University of California and the University of Kassel.
