For more than 10 years Michael has been focusing on much of the firm’s complex international work in Australia, the Middle East, and Asia. He worked extensively on the National September 11th Memorial in New York, as well as on Barangaroo in Sydney, the Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco, and the Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore. . He is currently working on the Khiran Pearl City Marina and the Kuwait International Tennis Complex. From his years prior to PWP, Michael brings professional experience working in Urban Design and is especially interested in the creation of civic landscapes. He received a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture with Honors from Cornell University with a concentration in Art and Art History. He has taught introductory design studios at Cornell University. Michael received both the Mehan and Thomas H. Johnson awards for design excellence.
