Jay Swaintek serves as PWP’s Managing Director, guiding the firm’s operations and providing strategic leadership across its diverse portfolio of work. He fosters the collaborative culture and organizational support that enable teams to realize projects of exceptional quality, consistently delivering on ambitious goals with precision and care.

Over the course of his career, Jay has helped shape many of PWP’s most celebrated works, contributing to a body of projects recognized with international, regional, state, and local awards for design excellence. Widely respected for his ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary teams, he brings a steady and thoughtful approach to every phase of design and implementation, earning the trust of clients, collaborators, and builders alike.

Jay has managed the design, documentation, coordination, and construction administration of numerous landmark projects, including Barangaroo Reserve, the First Responders Memorial at the National September 11 Memorial, Speedway Mall at The University of Texas at Austin, One Vanderbilt Plaza, and VMWare Headquarters.
